Wandering Tavern was established in 1913 and recently renovated in a traditional meets modern style to capture the essence of its regional roots.
Functions are mainly held in the dining room while the bar is also available for bookings. Guests are also welcome to make use of the beer garden and tavern facilities. We’re a small regional tavern with a warm atmosphere and welcome up to 100 capacity

Bookings are available for most occasions, whether you're planning a birthday, wedding, stag or hen night, engagement party, sporting function, wake, group gathering, a meeting, business lunch, Christmas or Easter get-together.
We provide customised function planning along with catering from our in-house chef, who can collaborate with you to provide food with a theme of your choice. We are available to discuss what will make the occasion special, from sourcing top-quality fish and champagne to providing in-house party buffets. Just ask, one of the team for more information.

Awesome day yesterday at the Wandering Tavern, with the official launch of the Virtual Village in Wandering. We planted a tree and put a plaque, done by the wonderful Mal Wilkins, in the ground, had some laughs with Famous Sharon, made a small dent in the amazing amount of food supplied by Charlie and Janet, and heard from some of the researchers and agencies involved, hosted a couple of politicians and generally had a great time. There were 43 of us there - we're far exceeding expectations for such a small community, but that just shows the need is there. Many thanks again to Charlie and Janet for your incredible service. Everyone raved about the food, but I also appreciated all the extra help with the tree planting, the setting up, and the cleaning up of the mess we left behind.
